This product does not cause the xbox to reboot on switching hdmi inputs. It works flawlessly albeit a little expensive.

I bought this, unlike some others, completely disregarding the audio adapter and simply wanting to display my Xbox 360 games in High Definition. The moment I turned my Xbox on after connecting this, I knew it was completely worth the money. I use my Xbox primarily to play Red Dead Redemption, a game with a beautifully rendered world, and everything is incredibly sharper, more colorful and in richer detail. So if you're buying this wholly, or partially, just to play games in High Definition, you will not by any means be disappointed. The only con I have experienced so far is that I'm unable to process sound through my Turtle Beach Headset from the TV with this cable hooked up, but I hardly care about that considering how amazing the picture is after plugging this cable in.

This a/v cable is exactly what you think it is. I only bought this for the optical audio out which will allow you to use the HDMI cable port on the back. Works as promised, and am very pleased. Would be nice if they sold it without an HDMI cable as I didn't need one.

It is really good for what it's meant to do. That is, let me connect the hdmi to the tv, and audio to my 5.1 surround setup. I can't believe you couldn't do such a thing straight out of the box. Another example how Microsoft is trying to rip you off.
