I've had this for over a week now and it is working great! Keeps my xbox at a cool temp, much better temp than what it was running before. This is for surely going to prolong the life of my xbox, gives me a good peace of mind. After unboxing the intercooler, i noticed the power cord is super long which is great if you need to plug it in far away, i turned on the xbox and did a little before and after test, after having it run for about 5 min i put my hand to the rear of the xbox (which i never really have done before) the air coming out was WEAK and WARM. I attached the intercooler and waited for it to kick on, which it did within a minute and WOW what a difference! It definatly pushes air out alot better than the stock fan. After playing for an hour and watching 2 movies on Netflix (3 hours all together) i felt the machine....cool to the touch, very very very light warm spot (im assuming where the motherboard sits) thats it. I was VERY pleased. Best part was after turning off the xbox the fan stayed on for a few min till all warm air was pushed out then turned off by itself.

Buy this....its a very worthy investment!

Before I had the intercooler ts, my xbox always stopped working because it overheated. But now with the easy installation of the cooler, my xbox is kept cooled and hasn't overheated. I've had this for over 5 months and this has worked as it says! I would recommend this for all gamers that have cooling problems with their xbox. I guarantee that the intercooler ts will cool your xbox 360!!!!

This thing does exactly what it says it does. When your Xbox gets hot it turns on when it cools down it turns off, siple as that! It does a good job of moving air through the unit and can significantly reduce the temperature. I was told that nyko's coolers were garbage worthy but this unit has worked very well for me. I have many friends who have gotten red rings many times, so it is definitely a problem. To be safe you should probably get yourself one of these to keep it cool.
I guess it cools.

The tempsmart idea is good but sometimes its hot before it even begins. The best things to do for your xbox is to...

1. Talisman Whisper Fan
2. Penny Trick (youtube it)
3. Arctic Silver 5 on GPU and CPU (there's also a $5 kit on amazon with instructions and needed screws and washers (doesnt include AS5 and thermal paste removal).

In other words, this cooler maybe helps 10%.. or less even if pulls more wind out, it wont pull it fast enough to cool down the GPU, CPU, and heat clamps. Those 3 steps are your best bet. 2 is free ^ =D 3 is around $5 if you have basics are home and 1 you can buy online for about this price. With all 3 of these done, your xbox will be in much better shape. How do I know? I bought this, got the RROD, and tried #2 which fixed it for 2 months, then got RROD again, then tried #3 in conjunction w/ 2 and just as a precaution, I added #1. =D Happy shopping... but not for this....

I've had this product for just a few days, and I'm overall happy with it. I was unaware of the noise it makes, but trust me, it's noticeable! I bought this item solely to ease my mind about the RROD. My buddy has been through 3 Xbox's already, and I am doing everything I can to prevent the same outcome. The intercooler does seem to keep the console cooler during gameplay, but the directions said to avoid connecting and disconnecting, so I leave mine on all the time. Also, another reviewer says that it will not read a warm temperature within minutes of turning off the console, but when I'm done gaming for awhile, it's normally for AWHILE (more than 5 minutes). Like I said, I bought this for peace of mind, and it has served it's purpose since I've had it. I would recommend this product to anybody who wants to cool their console but doesn't mind exchanging background noise for price.
